How I saved the TAMS 2025 event by fixing their crashed event management website overnight, ensuring a seamless experience for over 7,000 attendees.
Proud to share an incredible experience where I stepped in at the last moment to revive the TAMS 2025 event website and ensure the success of an event attended by 6,000+ participants!
🎯 What Happened?
A day before the TAMS event, the custom-built website (for games and event coordination) went down. With only hours left and thousands of registrations at stake, I was contacted as a last resort.
💻 My Role & Contribution
• Quickly analyzed the issue and optimized the database structure
• Fixed multiple critical bugs that caused crashes under high traffic
• Worked overnight to ensure the platform was fully functional
• Successfully deployed the updated site live on Vercel: https://tams-pesu.vercel.app/
🚀 Results
The website handled thousands of live users during the event without issues. The next day, the event was executed flawlessly, and I received appreciation from the organizing team along with a standing ovation from the entire club.
